This Event is dedicated to showing our Gratitude and Thanks to all Veterans (and their
families) who have served our country and sacrificed so much;
And to those Agencies that stand along
side the DAV in their never-ending
support.

The day will Feature

1.  A Grand picnic with lots of your favorite refreshments and entertainment.  Delicious
boxed dinners with drink to go after the  Event for your trip home

and your evening meal.  Chapter #9 will not furnish any alcoholic beverages.
2.  Horseshoes, badmitten, fishing at it's finest with a 450 ft pier, or walk the shore-line.
Non-lifeguard swimming might be available a short distance from Aitch location.
3.  Enjoy fishing with the pro Striper Guides from Raystown Striper Club who are furnishing
fully equipped boats & bait for two (2) hour fishing trips starting early in the morning at
5:00 am.  Raystown Lake Trophy Striper last year 2010 was 53 lbs. and the variety of fish
species is unmatched  with Muskie, Crappie, Brown Trout, Lake Trout, Large Mouth and

Beyond any doubt Raystown Lake is Pennsylvania's  premier water gem with much to offer
for the entire family.   126 miles of pristine shore line with scenery that is breathtaking.
Built and maintained by the PArmy Corps of Engineers to insure its pristine and natural
surroundings and  not one house on the shores.  Several Dignitaries and special guests will
