| On October 15th & 16th, 2010 DAV #9 Sanctioned the "2nd Annual Crossbow Deer Hunting" Outing, which entailed being able to sanction twelve (12) Disabled American Veterans attend, whom all enjoyed a fantastic weekend in Star Tannery, Va., at the NORVA Hunt & Gun Club They were all trained in the art of crossbow hunting taught by Special regulation Teachers who showed them how to crossbow hunt for deer. The connection and camaraderie between everybody created a fulfilling weekend. Now on the other hand, "Mother Nature" had her own ideas and gave us a lot of wind, but that didn't stop the Hunt and fun for possibly "bagging"/bringing home a deer. The experience was wholesome and whole-hearty. Here are the pictures from this Event for 2010, please allow them all to load and then enjoy them all.
