DAV OFFICIAL PARTICIPATION RULES FOR GASOLINE RAFFLE 1. Not responsible for lost or stolen tickets. 2. All DAV raffle tickets for this and any raffle in the future are non-transferrable 3. Tickets for the gasoline raffle for Omps Garage are only redeemable at Omps Service Station for Gasoline only - no cash transactions. Tickets or any balances not redeemable for cash. 4. When all tickets are sold and turned in, drawing will take place 3 days afterwards. 5. Winning ticket must be produced (physically turned in) no more than 30 days after Drawing. After 30 days (midnight of the 30th day) Ticket will be void and non-usable one second after Midnight. NO exceptions. 6. If ticket is not turned in after the required 30 days, the $500.00 Gasoline prize will be Added on to the next Gasoline Raffle. 7. Tickets may not be sold by any one else, other than a registered Member of the DAV Chapter # 9, Winchester, Virginia. 8. Cash only donations -- no checks accepted. 9. No more than 100 tickets sold to any one person. 10. Proper I.D and Winner’s Certificate must be shown at each redemption. Do not lose your Winner’s Certificate. 11. Winner agrees to redeem total amount within 6 months of winning. Ticket and balance void after that date. 12. DAV Chapter # 9 reserves the rights for any decisions and or determinations concerning this raffle at any time. The DAV is also held harmless from any legal action or legality for any situation involved with this or any raffle or fund raiser it conducts. By signing the ticket, you accept these conditions without reservation, and will comply with all said rules. 13 The DAV reserves the right to amend, add, or delete any rules for the good of the raffle. 14. Have fun and participate in all our raffles, as they will be ONGOING and DAV created 1st exclusive to our community and serving its Veterans in need. All proceeds go to Disabled Veterans less the costs for printing the tickets. All mail-in contributions to help our area Veterans are graciously and greatly appreciated and Tax Deductible. Greetings to all our tri-state residents DAV Chapter #9 will be present at both the Frederick County Fair and the Warren County Fair this year. Please visit our booth and speak with our Members about what the DAV is doing for your Community and its Veterans. The booth will have videos, historical information, and display Posters and Paintings. Free Face painting for the kids (and adult kids) and Free helium balloon animals. The DAV will be conducting many GASOLINE/DEISEL Raffles and will be accepting new Applications to join our very active DAV Family, or to transfer in. There will also be fulltime highly experienced and trained Virginia Certified Service Officers present to answer any of your claims questions or to file new claims. Disabled American Veterans working for our Veterans. Ask about our Veterans Employment Resource Center if you are looking for employment. Our newly incorporated DAV SPORTS COMMITTEE will be conducting several exciting raffles with excellent top quality sports equipment packages at both fairs as well. If you are a qualified Veteran ask them how you can join and become a Member of our upcoming numerous sports activities. The DAVA will also be sharing the booth and will be conducting several raffles with a Grand Prize of $500.00 worth of groceries on a Wal-Mart Gift Certificate. Ask any of DAVA Member about how you can Join the DAVA and carry on your families patriotism because one of your family members is a Veteran or on current Active Duty. The DAVA is not an exclusive Ladies Auxiliary, it is an accordant Unit of family members of both genders, including youth. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------- Join our DAV family and be there in total support for our disabled Veterans. Now more than ever, they need us to support them…. as jobs and housing are difficult to find and secure. Today’s Veterans face many more hardships because of the economy and the high cost of living and lack of decent paying employment and career positions.
